Thank you for choosing to stay with us Kawagoe Dai-Ichi Hotel. Kawagoe is a city with history of tradition
and culture. Kawagoe has many historic sites and cultural properties which
represent the culture of Edo era.
That is why the city is called “The Little Edo”. The city of Kawagoe is known for its sweet potatoes and
also eels (spitch-cocked). We have rice wines, ice creams made of sweet
potatoes and also a restaurant
that serves a full course of it. There are also many eel restaurants in
Kawagoe. Please ask us more about
it at the reception. Kawagoe Daiichi Hotel is located very close to the
station yet not middle of the populated
area so we are capable of providing tranquility.
All of our staff members are determined to make your stay at home. It is

We have our own masseur in our hotel. Please try her massage by dialing
nine from your room.
Massage services are available from 20:00〜02:00 during week days.

Kawagoe is convenient for both business and pleasure.
By train : Takes 30 minutes to Ikebukuro.(by Tobu tojo express line)
60 minutes to Tokyo station.
By car : 15 minutes to Kawagoe interchange.
30 minutes to industrial parks.

3-5 minutes walk from Tobu-Tojou Line and JR Line linked Kawagoe station.(East
exit)
120 minutes by Airport Limousine Bus from Kawagoe station(West exit) to
Haneda International Airport.
150 minutes by Airport Limousine Bus from Kawagoe station (West exit) to
Narita International Airport.

Sight seeing areas
“Kurazukuri” a few dozen of fireproof storehouses from 1720s lined up
along the main streets of Motomachi, Saiwaicho and Nakacho.
Approximately 25 minutes walk from the hotel.
“Tokino Kane” A bell tower which is the symbol of Kawagoe. The current
tower was rebuilt after the big fire in 1893. 16 meters high and bell
chime rings four times a day. 06:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00.
Approximately 25 minutes walk from the hotel.
“Kashiyayokocho” A small lane of confectionaries, attracting residents
and visitors, selling traditional Japanese sweets in classic atmosphere.
Approximately 25 minutes walk from the hotel.
“Honmaru Goten” A part of Kawagoe Castle which remains today.
The Goten is a wooden structure built in 1848.
And there are more places to visit. Such as “Kitain Temple”,
“Gohyakurakan”, “Naritasan Betsuin”, and Kawagoe Festival Museum.
